Decking the Halls, and anything else for that matter...lol

Well, I've started decorating...actually fueling my obsession with Christmas. I get asked every now and then, why sooooo many trees. Well, I remember, my Daddy telling stories about window display's in downtown Altoona Pa. where he grew up. After he went blind, he said his three regrets, watching us kids grow up, driving, and Christmas lights. He would then go on to tell of all the wondorous stuff he seen as a kid. So when he passed, I happened across a magazine where a lady put up themed trees alllll over the house, including one that is upside down, to resemble a chandelier. So that's when it started, because my husband is AWESOME and totaly went with the idea.... 11 years later, it's grown to 10+ trees. Now that I'm all into shabby chic...some things have been tweaked throught the years. My daughter who will turn 18 soon begged me to go "all out" because this is her last year as a "kid"...so...here we go...lots of posts of all my crap....lol

My new obsession...well to add to the one I already have for Christmas...is Bethany Lowe Designs!! Again, bargain hunter, tight wad, however you want to label it....I'm getting these things for a bargain too!! I love how nostalgic/vintage they look...soooo shabby...lol..

My wonderful Santa...love it!!!

The "Bethany Lowe" tree in all it's glory!!!!

This is my framed jewel tree that I purchased at a yard sale for $3.00. I couln't of made it myself for that...I love it!!! Just add lights as so and walla... these things go on ebay for the bucks!!!! {yes I see the bare spot in the middle, have been checkin out Forever 21 for the "right" piece to go there...by the way, great store for inexpensive costume jewelry!!!}

Here is the mantel in my family/computer/scrap/junk room....in person, it looks like a magazine spread. Really proud of it...AND most of my silver little trees, the dollar tree...yep

OOOO...pretty...all lit up..I love it! One of my best....

Here is a tree I put in the foyer. I love this little tree which is a companion to the one I have in my dinning room...pics to come...lol

Oh, and my Target find. These babies go for the bucko's too!! It only set me back $20 and looks similiar to the one's going for over $80. Next year I may spruce it up to look more "shabby"...
That's my post for today...my tech support {teenager} whined when I asked her to put the other pics on the computer....so...it will give everyone, something to look forward to....lol...
